Blackenvoy girls
Many breeders place a huge amount of importance on using great stud dogs but often overlook the qualities that the dam will bring. Here at blackenvoy we understand that it is just as important to select bitches that have exceptional temperament, working ability and correct conformation. We only breed from girls who will improve the quality of our line and future generations for the breed. Mary
COLQUITE MARY POPPINS OF BLACKENVOY
Mary, Pops or Popsy as she is affectionately known is an extremely talented gundog, picking up for fun and competing with Sarah in tests and trials where she is rarely out of the awards. Mary has a temperament to die for, being both kind, affectionate and extremely intelligent. She is a joy to train and always tries her best to please.
Mary has produced one exceptional litter in 2023 and another in early 2025 and has now been retried from breeding so that she can concentrate on working and competing.
we have kept several of her offspring and all are showing great promise.
Dee
Dee Dee is a daughter of Mary, sired by FTCH Ffynongain Buzzard of Wauniago (Buzz) and is very similar to her dam in many ways, being intelligent, biddable and very keen to work with her handler.
She is a compact little dog, but more than makes up for her size in personality, being very affectionate, kind natured and with a turn of speed to rival any dog.
Dee has had multiple test awards and has been gaining valuable experience out picking up with Sarah's team, getting ready for trials in the coming season.
Tic Tac
Tictac is a daughter of Mary, litter sister to Dee and Biggie.
This little dog is very much a carbon copy of her mother, being frighteningly intelligent, ridiculously affectionate and ludicrously fast.
Tictac hunts for fun, facing any cover and using her nose to great effect. She is however calm and steady, never showing any sign of excitement when training or in a busy drive.
We have high hopes that she will trial next season alongside her two siblings and have no doubt that she has what it takes to excel.
Jay
Jay dog was bred by a friend of ours in Cornwall and is shaping up to be an absolutely awesome little gundog, being both uncomplicated to train, yet fast and stylish in her work.
Jay is a joy to live with and loves picking up in the winter months, but has also run in her first novice trial this season, coming away with third place.
Jay is a bit of a clown, she's always making us laugh but when it comes to her work she does have a serious side. We're looking forward to trailing her more next season and feel confident that she will do well.
